Tau can't soup, but we currently don't have the ability to include auxillary units effectively in to our army (FSE aggressive footing is broken with any aux in the det). It all started downhill when he left but it has picked up, codex-wise for Tyranids and Tau in 8th so there’s hope yet. Tau super heavy walkers————- tho.
